Analytics Blueprint LLC, doing business as RetirementCalculator.net ("we," "us," or "our"), operates the website at retirementcalculator.net. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
Calculator inputs
Calculator results are computed in your browser. If you use the URL sharing feature, your inputs are encoded in the URL hash, which browsers do not transmit to our server in ordinary HTTP requests. One exception: when you request a PDF report, your inputs are sent to our server to generate that report and are not stored afterward.
Analytics data
We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This may include: pages visited, time on page, referring website, general geographic region (country/state level), device type, and browser type. We do not collect IP addresses for analytics purposes.
Email address
We do not collect email addresses. Calculator reports download directly, with no sign-up and no email required. If we add an optional email feature later, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
2. How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and improve the website
- Understand which calculators and content are most useful
- Serve relevant advertising
- Monitor site performance and fix errors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. The one exception is our optional advisor matching feature, described in Section 5: if you choose to use it, information you submit there goes directly to our matching partner and the advisors they connect you with. You control whether to use that feature.
3. Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies
We use cookies to remember your preferences, such as dark mode and calculator settings. These are necessary for the site to function properly.
Analytics cookies
Our analytics provider may set cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information.
Advertising cookies
Our advertising partners may set cookies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. These third-party cookies are governed by the respective advertising partner's privacy policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or through the advertising partner's opt-out mechanism.
4. Third-party services
We use the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare: Hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may process limited connection data. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Analytics provider: Web analytics for understanding site usage. Does not collect personally identifiable information.
- Advertising partner: Display advertising. May use cookies for ad targeting and measurement.
We do not share your calculator inputs or email address with advertising partners.
5. Financial advisor matching
We no longer offer advisor matching on this site. This section remains because a report you downloaded previously may still print a retirementcalculator.net/advisor link, and that link still forwards to our former matching partner, WiserAdvisor. Nothing happens unless you choose to follow it.
If you follow that link and choose to continue, you leave our site, and any information you provide there (such as your name, contact details, age, and a self-reported asset range) is collected directly by the matching service and the advisors they connect you with. We do not collect or store that information ourselves, and we do not pre-fill or transmit your calculator inputs into their form. How that information is used is governed by WiserAdvisor's privacy policy and the privacy policy of any advisor you are matched with.
We may still receive a referral fee when a visitor we refer becomes a qualified match. This does not change what you pay. The matching service is free to you, and the fee does not affect your calculator results, readiness score, or any guidance shown on this site.
RetirementCalculator.net is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planning firm. We do not select, endorse, supervise, or vet the advisors you are matched with, and being matched is not a recommendation to work with any particular advisor.
6. Data retention
Calculator inputs are not stored on our own servers. Inputs sent to generate a PDF report are used to build that report and are not retained afterward. We do not hold any email list. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and does not contain personally identifiable information.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt out of personalized advertising through your browser or ad partner settings

8. Children's privacy
RetirementCalculator.net is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
